Lake Tahoe, NV

13

Lake Tahoe, Nevada was a special stop for me, not only for the lake, but my friends. I used to live in Reno, Nevada which was just a short 30 minute drive down the mountain. I lived in Reno for 6 years for my life, first grade through sixth. I had not been back to see some of my friends in almost 8 years so visiting Tahoe was more than just a scenic stop. One of my good friends, Matthew Paulson, works on the beach in Sand Harbor. I was fortunate to visit him at work and hang out with the rest of the beach patrol. I saw old friends and made new ones as I had been absent for so long. On the first day, 3 friends and I went golfing and hung out in my old neighborhood park. Slacklining our way into the night and enjoying each others company. The next day I went to visit Matthew, up at his work in Tahoe for a day and took most of my shots on the trip with he and his co-workers Brian, Sarah, Erica, Ben and Savanah. The next day we hung out with a big group of Matt's friends. The night ended with us listening to Mumford and Sons until we fell asleep on the floor. The next day I woke up and went to lunch with a good friend of mine, Natasha Wesely. She took me to a really good cafe called Laughing Planet, followed by some coffee at the Blue Whale Coffee Co. After we said our goodbyes I headed for home. I was in the home stretch of my trip, Santa Cruz, California was the final destination...
