Boone, North Carolina is one of my favorite places in the states. I would go as far as calling it my second home when I lived in Raleigh, North Carolina. During the winters, my and I family would go skiing and in the summers we would go fly fishing in the Watagua river. Boone is where some of my favorite memories from North Carolina are. My friends and I would all take trips up there and have adventures that we still talk about to this day. Some of my closest friends are actually people that I met in Boone while we all were out exploring. My friends and I used to go downtown and walk around late at night meeting new people and hearing new stories. With all the people we talked to, we heard about a place called Howard's Knob which overlooked the city. It is a spectacular view during the day and even better at night. I went up there to get some great shots over Boone and on my out I stopped by Appalachian State University. I was able to go on their football field and take some cool shots of their track and some of their campus. Since my family now lives in California, its very special to me to have visited North Carolina and since this will be my last time in the state for a while, it made it just that much sweeter...
